Rearranging

The last couple of months we have been rearranging the rooms to get ready for baby Sadie's arrival. The old toy room became Sadie's new room.

The boys painting the letters of Sadie's name.

I am so sad the pictures of Sadie's room did not turn out well because it is super cute. It ended up becoming a family project. Grandpa redid all the wiring and outlet let covers and Aunt Danielle did the dragonfly stenciling.

Like I said before I couldn't get a good picture of her room, but I will keep trying.

Logan's old room became the new toy room.

And Logan moved into Blake's room. We got them both new dressers, which they were so happy about.

Blake sleeps on the top bed and Logan sleeps on the bottom. They have adjusted better than I thought and seem to enjoy sharing a room together. Logan especially likes his big bed. Now most of the rearranging is done and we are one step closer to being ready for baby Sadie's arrival.

Julie's birthday

For my birthday this year my dad came over in the morning before I took Blake to preschool and made me breakfast with the boys.
They made me waffles, sausage and orange juice. Thanks dad! I also hurried and went to Disneyland by myself since I have a pass they gave me the equivalent of admission in a gift card to spend on merchandise in the park. I got some sunglasses and toys for the boys with my gift card. It was a busy, but good day for me.

First Dodger game

We went to our first Dodger game of the season. Rich bought 10 games off a guy from work, so he is looking forward to many game.

We took the whole family and grandpa to this game. We got there late because Rich was at a scout overnighter. That ended up to be good since we had the boys and it was very hot that day.

It ended up being a good game with the Dodgers winning 9-5.

Broccoli

Today Logan was hungry for a snack, so I went in the kitchen with him to find something to eat. I would ask him "Do you want this?" He would say "No." I went through numerous food items until he went in the fridge and grabbed the broccoli and told me he wanted broccoli.

So I gave him his broccoli and took a picture to show him someday when he hates vegetables that at one time he loved them and would eat the raw with no dip.

Logan finds one thing and is content for awhile.

We had an enjoyable Easter. We went to church and celebrated our Saviors resurrection and were able to spend time with family and friends.

Coloring Eggs

We ended up dyeing our Easter eggs late the night Saturday evening. I totally forgot to have the kids paint their eggs and Blake has been asking all week when we were going to paint their eggs. So not painting them wasn't an option.

They had a lot of fun coloring the eggs and did a good job of not making a mess.

Blake would put his eggs in a color and stir and stir the egg for a long time which gave him his brightly colored eggs. Logan on the other had took his egg put it in the color and took it out and would then grab his next eggs. Logan finished really fast and then was able to repeat his process several times to all of his eggs before Blake finished his eggs.

Here are the boys with all of their eggs. They even like eating them only because they are painted and get to pick out what color they want.

Rauch Easter

We ended up having Rich's family over our house for the Easter picnic today. We had good food and a fun time together.

We had an egg hunt of course.

We played some games.

Blake was able to figure out how to bounce really far on the ball and won every time. It was so funny to watch them race.

We celebrated Blake and Brendan's birthdays.

Grandma Rauch bought everyone ping pong guns. Logan couldn't figure his out.

Everyone else was able to work theirs just fine and we had a huge ping pong ball fight in the house and outside of it.
Grandpa Moss tried to avoid the war and work on Blake's telescope outside. Sadly this just ended up with a planned attack against him. Everyone and fun and no one was safe not even the poor little babies who got pelted by the balls. It was a great Easter.

The Park with Logan

While Blake is at soccer practice I take Logan to the park next to the field. It is fun watching him climb up the stair and go on all the equipment. It's times like these that you realize you little baby is grown up and doing things all on his own.

Logan dumping the sand out of his shoes.

My cute little Logan.

Soccer Season

We signed up Blake to play soccer this year, so he could play with his cousin Breckin.

They were so excited to play together.

Moss Easter

For family home evening we had our Easter party with the Moss family. The kids got to do an egg hunt in grandpa and grandma's backyard. Blake runs outside to start the egg hunt.

Poor Logan can't keep his pants on. Must be nice to be so skinny.

Carson proudly holds up his egg he found.

All of Blake's eggs.

Logan looking to see what is in his egg.

All the kids with their eggs and buckets.

In their buckets from grandma and grandpa were bubbles. The kids had fun blowing bubbles. When Blake blows his bubbles he whistles, it makes me laugh.

The fun part is trying to catch the bubbles.
