Back to Carpinteria

We had a campsite this week at Carpinteria.  Olga Rauch brought her kids up to camp with us.  We always have more fun with family and friends, especially Blake.  We had a great week together.  The kids did the jr. ranger program where they got to visit the lifeguard tower and salt marshes.  We had fun exploring, playing spades, walks, the beach and food!ng the beach.

Scout Camp

Rich is still scout master, which mean every summer he goes to scout camp with his scouts.  This year there was a fire at the camp they were suppose to attend, so they moved them down to San Diego area for camp.  Unfortunately we were not able to attend the family night and visit Rich at camp.  We tried to stay busy at home, the kids even helped out with the lawn while he was away.

Jurupa Hills Discovery

This morning I took the kids and our neighbors Level and Lovie to Jurupa Hills Discovery Center.  There was lots of rocks, and fossils.  The kids didn't enjoy it too much, the heat didn't help.  Oh well, I tried!

Beach Day

Today we had another beach day, what can I say we love the beach!  We went with our Rauch cousins to Crescent Bay Beach in Laguna.  It was a beautiful beach with lots for the kids to explore.  The only down side was there are no bathrooms, which Sadie did not like.  

Joiners

I started watching David and Dawson Joiner when they were just begining to crawl.  They still come over on minimum days to play.  Today they invited us to their house to play.  The kids had a blast, it has been good to have such good friends for my kids.
