Park

I got a new camera, so I had to try it out. I took the kids to the park to play and so I could play with my new camera.

Sadie on the slide.

Logan and Sadie love playing in the sand together, but also like to throw it at each other.

Blake was wanting me to take pictures of him. He would pose for me or call me over to take pictures of him doing activities. Blake wanted me to take a picture of him hanging upside down.

The many poses of Blake.

It is fun watching Sadie at the park, and notice how much she has grown up. She can climb all the ladders, and loves going down the slides.

Logan loves throwing sand!

Logan wouldn't let me take pictures of him so I had to surprise him as he went down the slide.

Newport Beach

My cousin Marissa came down to visit for the week. She loves the beach and week almost everyday that she was here. So today we went down to Newport Beach for the day. Yes I know it is January, but it was the most beautiful and best beach day ever! We have been having very cold weather, but this week it warmed up and it was a perfect day at the beach. Here is Blake in the water.

Logan and Blake.

Sadie

Sadie falling down in the water and not too happy about that.

Logan jumping over the waves.

Logan showing me a shell that he found.

Enjoying digging in the sand.

We sat by the jetty and had fun looking in all the rocks.

We saw sea urchins, and even some starfish.

Grandma and Grandpa in their beach apparel. As you can tell they are not beach people.

Sadie exploring the sand.

Logan still loves to rub his head in the sand.

The kids playing in the water. What a beautiful day!

Blake swimming in the water.

Marissa chasing Logan.

Sadie digging a hole.

After the beach we went to Marissa favorite restaurant the Crab Shack for dinner. They only serve seafood, which was bad for the half of us who hate seafood. Then we went and got Balboa bars and walked on the pier. Grandma pushed the kids in her wagon, Sadie and Logan love that wagon.
Blake with his Balboa ice cream bar. Yummy!

Rich and I on the pier. I tried to make sure we got a picture together since we never take pictures with each other. It was a awesome day at the beach today, very fun and relaxing.

Nursery

Sadie is officially 18 months, which means she can go to nursery at Church! It is so wonderful not to have to chase her around during class time. Here she is on her second week in nursery (we snuck her in a week early).

Since Rich and I both serve in the youth program they have someone come watch our kids at the church during our activity. This helped Sadie adjust to going to nursery on Sundays. Now she just needs to learn to share with all the other little kids.

Messy Girl

What can I say we have a messy little girl. Who loves chocolate pudding and climbing on our table.

Yummy bread, much better when you sneak into it.

Chino Youth Museum

Today my sister in law Danielle and I took our kids to the Chino Youth Museum for their free Friday event. Logan played with the Lego's while the animal show was going on.

They brought in different animals for the kids to look at like an owl, porcupine, opossum, snake and other animals at the end they brought out a tortoise for all the kids to touch. Here is Logan toughing the tortoise he loved it and was fascinated with him. His cousin Ellie and Carson are standing by waiting for their turn.

Then their is Blake who didn't get in line with his brother and cousins to touch the tortoise, so I had to go back to the end of the line and wait for him to get his turn. When it was his turn he didn't even stop to touch the turtle!
So here is the unblurred picture of Blake with the turtle that we had to wait forever to touch and then he just walks right past it.

Logan, Ellie and Carson decorating their animal masks.

Logan showing me his mask.

Blake coloring his mask, he was kind and let Sadie help color his mask. We had fun hanging out with our cousins. We always enjoy free events! After the museum we all went out and ate dinner at one of our favorite places to go together Chick-fil-A.

New Year's Eve

Tonight for New Years we had our traditional New York New Years. Which means we celebrate New years at 9:00pm our time, but watch the New York celebration.

For dinner we had tons of different appetizers.

The kids blowing their horns.

Getting sprayed with silly string.

Sadie laughing so hard at the kids popping all the balloons from the balloon drop.

Happy New Year 2011!!!
