Baseball Season

When baseball season comes around it becomes our life.  Practices, games, parties.  Rich coached Blake this year and he loved having his dad as his coach.  They had a great, fun season.

Blake loved being catcher.

Team Pizza party durning the middle of the season.
End of the year party at the park, the kids had a blast.
Mom always nervous during the games, needs her sunflower seeds to clam her down.
Grandma Shelly supporting Blake,  Blake always had family and friends come support him.

Tennis

I have signed Logan up for baseball and soccer and he hated both sports.  He told me "No baseball, No soccer, Logan does zero!"  After I did the tennis belt loop with my cub scouts Logan said he wanted to play tennis.  So I found a class through the city and signed him up.  He loved it for a while and then got tired of it.  But, it was cute watching him play and fun watching him do something that he enjoyed.

Pool

The pool is up and the kids are loving swimming in it!
Sadie and Logan filling up the pool.

Yard

The last few months we have been redoing our backyard.  We started with taking out our two huge trees.

We wanted to add cement to put up the pool in the summer, but not have dirt all winter long. Because our yard is higher in the back and we needed the cement to be completely level for the pool we had to add a wall.

Last we put in new sod.  It was a long, expensive project.  We are happy and excited to have it all done and get to enjoy our yard just in time for Summer.

Back 2 school night

Blake and Logan had back to school night at their school.  Grandma Rauch came with me to look at the boys classes.  The only picture I took was of this Indian Village that Blake's class made.  His teacher gave each of the students a check list of things to show their parents.  Logan was so excited to take up to his class, but his teacher ended up not being there.  After we took the boys to get some ice cream.

Closing Ceremonies

Today was closing ceremonies for baseball.  All the trophies were giving out and the All Star teams were announced.  Blake made the 9-10 year old All Star team.  Rich knew that he had made the team, since he was the manager, but Blake had no idea.

He was so excited to make the all star team.  He got a trophy, t-shirt and hat.

Two other boys from Blake's team made All Stars, Ceaser, and Aries.

Big hugs from Logan.  So, now our baseball season has been extended.  Lets go Southridge!!!

Some pictures taken by Logan on the way home.
