Back to school night

Tonight Blake's school had Back to School Night. We had a great time going to meet Blake's teacher. She seems very positive and she expects a lot from her students. Blake desk is the one on the right of the teachers desk and overhead. He already got a good note sent home, and Blake informs me he is the only one that has gotten a good note in his class so far.

Blake by his desk. Blake doesn't like first grade his says its soooo long and boring, but he loves having three recess. He wants to go back to kindergarten because the day was shorter. Hopefully he will adjust soon.

Officially walking

Sadie is officially walking! Today she just started walking everywhere and no longer crawled. It is so weird to see her walking all around, never getting down on the ground to crawl. She can finally wear her nightgown and not get frustrated wearing dresses because she can't crawl in them. She seems so grown up now.

Sacramento

Today my cousin Danielle got married in the Sacramento temple. We took a little weekend trip so we could attend the wedding. Here is my family in front of the Sacramento temple.

A tradition my family has is someone kidnaps the bride. When the bride and groom were called over to cut the cake my brother and Rich come storming in with their swat jackets. Rich yelled,"Everyone stop, Police!, we have a warrant for Danielle's arrest!" He yelled so loud it scared some people who didn't know what was going on. They handcuffed Danielle and took her away to Burger King for a shake.

Rich and Sadie dancing. We had such a great time. It was so good to see all our family and be their for Danielle's wedding.

Lost the fight

This morning before church Blake decided to wrestle with Rich. Blake goes to attack Rich and Rich takes Blake's flip flop and flings it at him. Blake catches it and throws it back at Rich at the same time Rich is flinging Blake's other flip flop at him. Well Blake didn't catch it and it hit his mouth. After a few seconds Blake realizes that his mouth is bleeding. He goes to the bathroom to clean up. As he is cleaning his mouth we notice that his two front teeth are missing! Rich and I go to the living room to search the floor for his teeth and sure enough his two front teeth were in the carpet. Yes, he teeth were loose before, but it is still funny. At church today people would joke around with Blake and say, "So did your dad beat you up?" Blake replies, "Yes, he did!" We would then smile and say yes Blake lost in a wrestling match with dad. He now officially looks like a 1st grader.

Sadie Walking

About a week ago Sadie started taking her first steps. She is not fully walking yet, but she is getting closer everyday.

1st day of 1st grade

Today Blake started first grade. He wasn't looking forward to being at school all day. I am bummed beacuase his school is no longer year round they went to traditional.

Blake rode his scooter today, since we couldn't find his bike lock. He loves to ride his bike to school.

Letter Learner Class

Logan started his letter learner class with his friend Nathan. It is the same class that Blake took when he was Logan's age.

Logan was in a grumpy mood this morning and would let me get an official first day of school picture. He seemed to enjoy his class, and be with his friend.
