Easter

I don't have many pictures of Easter this year, but I have this awesome one of me and Sadie looking like a hot mess in the morning!  I guess the girls are not morning people and since we have 9:00am church we had to wake up everyone to do Easter before hand.  Blake and Logan are excited.

 Logan checking out his basket.

Blake looking through his Easter bucket.  They all got swim suits, googles, flip flops, and towels.

Logan finding the money eggs.  This year was unique we had all our family Easter parties before Easter.  We celebrated with the Moss side on Friday because my brother worked today, the Rauch's we always do the day before.  So today after church we went to my Aunt Jungmee's house for dinner.  We had a wonderful weekend and feel so lucky to be able to have our families so close to spend time with.

Coloring Eggs

What is Easter without coloring eggs?  The kids loved coloring Easter eggs.

All these eggs makes me ready for egg sandwiches!  I make all the kids take off shirts when we dyed eggs so they don't ruin their clothes.  Of course Sadie never wears clothes, so this is what she looks like most of the time.
After a long night at the baseball field for Blake's game, then coloring Easter eggs Blake and Logan were ready to eat.

Rauch Easter

Every year for Easter on the Rauch side we get together the Saturday before at a park for lunch.  We have chicken, tortillas, beans, potatoes salad and all the other yummy food.  We even play games.  This year the potato sack races were the big hit and became very competitive.

 Blake with his cousin Breckin.

 Sadie.

Now the adult/teenage race became a little crazy due to Rich's aggressiveness and desire to win.  We enjoyed a beautiful day with our family.

Moss Eater

We celebrated Easter with the Moss' on Blakes birthday.  Since it was his birthday we let him bring a friend, he brought Cason Gardner.   The kids had fun finding eggs and spending time with their cousins.

Blake's 9th birthday

Today my Blake turned 9.  Every year it amazes me how fast time goes.  Blake is the best big brother! I could not have asked for a better son.  He is such a great helper, he loves baseball, his ipod, and just playing with his friends.  Today I surprised him at school and signed him out for lunch.  I already went and bought his favorite food Subway to have a picnic.  He decided he wanted to go home and eat.

He came home to find his army birthday cake and birthday balloons.

We had an enjoyable lunch together.  He was so happy to be at home for lunch and kept telling me how surprised he was that I took him home for lunch.  He liked watching t.v. and hanging out until it was time to go back to school.

After school his best friend Cason came over for cake and ice cream.

No, he did not get an ipad for his birthday.  He got a new bike that he already picked out, and his new bear scouting uniform.

After his little party at home we went to Grandma and Grandpa Moss' to celebrate Easter (we had it early since Uncle Matthew works on Easter) and to celebrate Blake's birthday.  Happy Birthday Blake we LOVE you!

shopping with mom

Sadie and I enjoy out shopping trip together while the boys are at school.  Shopping with a daughter is so different than with my boys.  I remember when Blake and Logan were little and I had to go to the store they would say,"no, we hate shopping!"  Today I had to get stuff done for Blake's birthday and Easter.  Sadie sporting her shopping goodies, new sunglasses, candy and a balloon.  Maybe that's why she likes shopping so much, I don't remember being so giving with the boys.

Church Egg Hunt

This morning the Primary had an activity.  They colored, sang, planted seeds and had an egg hunt.  Blake had a baseball game and was unable to attend.
My kids we very timid and would pass several eggs before garbing one.  Eventually they got into the egg hunt, and enjoyed the activity.
