Blake's Fifth Birthday Party

My little Blake turned five years old today. I can't believe how quickly time has gone and how grown up he is now. Yesterday we had a birthday party for him with some of his friends. He wanted to have an army birthday party.

When the kids arrived those who wanted to put face paint on, we given a dog tag and helmet.

We ended up with a good size group of kids. Here are some of the kids throwing air planes.

We had a grenade toss.

The big hit was when the kids got marshmallow guns.

Blake with his cousin Breckin loading their marshmallow gun.

Logan at chow time.

What would a party be without a pinata. The kids did such a good job of waiting for their turn.

Everyone getting the candy from the solider pinata.

Blake with his birthday cake. It was so cute watching his face when he first saw his cake that morning and everything set up for his party. He was so happy and excited.

Blake blowing out his five candles.

Blake got so many gifts from his friends. He had a fun party and I was worn out after it was over, but it was all worth it for my birthday boy.

Everything looks wonderful! The pinata was very cool, and you did an amazing job on the cake! I'm so glad he had such a fun day.

The cake turned out so good. I think you should start selling them. :)

It was a fun day :) You did such a great good Julie! All the kids had a good time, minus a few melt downs :) I think my favorite part was the marshmellow shooter too (i can't wait to play with matthew)!

So funny...I asked Cosette if she wanted to see pictures from Blake's birthday party.

She says, "I know, I was there."

"No," I say, "he's had another party."

"He's had another one, with out me??" replies Cosette.
