More projects

So every time I'm pregnant I go into psycho crazy nesting where everything needs to be redone in our house. I am sorry to Rich and my dad who are the ones who have to do my insane projects for me. So, my major pregnancy project this time was to redo our fire place. I didn't take a picture of the before so the above picture kinda shows you what our old fireplace looked like. I have always hated it. The bricks and mirror went all the way up to the ceiling, and it was ugly! Everyone that came to our house always comments on it and when I said I didn't like it they would say, "really, I think it looks fine" I believe they were just trying to be nice.

Here is my wonderful dad covering up my fireplace for me.

And here is my new fireplace, which looks cleaner and more updated. I love it. We also had to repaint most all the house, and I redid my curtain, but none of that is up yet and I am slowly starting to add the decorations. As you can see there is now wiring for Rich to up a flat screen tv. We don't have one yet, so I will probably add a mirror up in until that happens.

We also had a patio cover installed, which we love. Rich has been wanting one for years and we finally had one put up, wish we did it sooner.
