Halloween

Sadie had a fun first Halloween. She was given several outfits, so here she is in some of them.

This was the year of borrowed and reused Halloween costumes. Usually I have their costumes all bought and ready to go by the end of September. This year Blake didn't know what he wanted to be and Logan could still care less about dressing up. So at the last minute we decided on Blake being a Clone Trooper, Logan Darth Vader and Sadie a Ladybug.

It all worked out and everyone enjoyed their costumes.

We went trick or treating with some of our cousins. Ellie was Rosetta from the Tinker Bell movie, Hunter was a dog, Blake, Sadie, Logan and Carson as a policeman.

We went to do our usually trick or treating at the stores. Logan lasted about 5 mins if that.

My kids were so tired and grumpy we didn't stay long before we headed off to the grandparents ward truck or treat. Luckily Blake and Logan got a little nap on the way over.

It's fun going to their ward because we get to see friends we grew up with. Here is Brandon Kahn with his new baby girl.

After the ward truck or treat grandma took the boys (who got their second bought of energy) trick or treating to a couple of her neighbors. This was the only time Logan would trick or treat by himself. Before he was winning and crying and didn't want to have anything to do with it. It was a fun long day. The nice part was we started early, so we finished early and the boys were home and in bed just a little after their normal bedtime.
