Cutting down the tree

Our tree in the front yard is dead and we have been wanting to cut it down for awhile, but never had the time to do it. Today our neighbor brought us an avocado tree they knew that we were wanting to plant one after we cut down our old tree. They bought it for us as a thank you for helping them out, but we really think they were so sick of looking at our dead tree.

Well the kids in the neighborhood love that tree. They climb in the tree, hang things in it, and it is the same tree Blake jumped out of and broke his arm. The kids were so sad to see Rich cut the tree down. They sat on our pouch yelling "No, No, No don't cut down our climbing tree!!!!" With every branch Rich cut off they yelled out in sadness.

Here is our yard now with the big tree gone and our little avocado tree. Hopefully in a few years we will have some yummy avocados to eat.
