Today I had my 31st birthday. We went out to dinner on Monday to Benihana's. They took a picture of our family after we ate. Today my friends Vania Rogers and Valerie Gardner who I work with in our young women's presidency took me out to lunch. I choose In-N-Out as the place I wanted to eat. It was nice to get out and spend time together. Rich took over for dinner so he ordered Pizza, bread sticks, and chicken strips from Papa John. I was happy that I didn't have to cook. He even made my request for brownies and the kids sang Happy Birthday to me. The big surprise was my gift of an ipad from him!!!! This made up for all the years of bad or no gift from him. I downloaded some apps and a movie for our long plane ride to Raleigh North Carolina tomorrow. I had a great birthday and I am grateful for everyone who made it special for me.

Sounds like an amazing birthday. An iPad? What a wonderful gift. So fun. That does sound like it makes up for the banana slicer...although, he tried and that alone gets an A for effort. Happy 31st! I didn't realize we were so close in age. You and Jeannete must be really close in age.
