Max and Logan

Over Thanksgiving weekend we watched my brother's family dog Max. Our course Logan was in love with him.

Max and Logan would fight over strings in their mouths. Logan especially loved Max because he is such a little dog he can pick him up and boss him around. When Max would do something wrong Logan would pick up Max and say "No Max!" and put him outside. Logan would then say, "Max is being a bad boy!" Logan just liked telling someone else no since right now he is always the person being told no to.

Logan just loves dogs. Too bad his mom and dad are mean and will never get one. So we will continue to doggie sit other dogs while they are on vacation.

Hot Chocolate

I think today was Logan's first time having hot chocolate. He doesn't like food that is very hot at all. So when I made his hot chocolate it was lukewarm water. He was so funny to watch as he drank his hot (warm) chocolate.

After Logan would take a sip of hot coco he would say, "Yum it's hot" then he would lift his shirt collar out and look at his chest. He could feel the drink going down his throat, but I think he thought he spilled and was looking for it. It was just so funny to watch him.

Blake loves his hot chocolate!

Logan now loves hot chocolate too!

Thanksgiving

Grandma Rauch got Sadie a new bib and pajamas for her first Thanksgiving.

We did our Thanksgiving dinner with my family on Monday night at family home evening. So on Thanksgiving we went to Rich's brothers Bill's house for dinner. We had a great time eating yummy food and spending time with family. Sadie and Daddy watching football.
The kids did a craft for grandma. They made a turkey our of all the grandchildren's hands and feet. It's always fun spending time with the extended family. About midnight I went to Walmart for some black Friday shopping. It was crazy, but somehow I managed to escape alive.

Aquarium of the Pacific

Since Blake is off track for the month of November and Rich had vacation this week we decided to go to the Aquarium of the Pacific. We were able to get our tickets cheap through Rich's work. The boys love sharks so we knew they would love going here.

Logan, Blake and Rich in front of the Ray touchpool.

Logan loved trying to touch the rays, Blake was scared they were going to sting him so he did not try touching them. We tried to tell Blake they wouldn't hurt him, but that didn't help. I don't know if Logan so much liked touching the rays or just splashing the water.

They had rocky tidepools that had star fish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers and other things for the kids to touch. Blake loved this, he would touch everything and asked the worker question after question. She asked Blake what grade he was in, and was surpirsed that he was only a kindergater because of all his questions. Logan didn't last long here, he didn't know how to softly touch the animals.

Blake, Logan and Sadie in front of the fish tank.

At one of the tanks they had the scuba divers in feeding all the rays, fish, and sharks (the nice ones). It was fun watching all the fish eat the broccoli, and lettuce the diver feed them. The scuba diver would give the boys thumbs up, and put his hand on the glass so they could give him a high five.

When we got their they gave us an information book with all the animals there. Inside the book they had a spot to put a stamp at the different stations. Blake and I had fun filling our book up with stamps. We got a pencil for finding all the stamp stations. It was fun spending time together and seeing the excitement on the boys faces as they saw and touched different sea animals.

Bike Jumps

So at the park by our house there is a place with bike jumps. They actually have bike races and people come from everywhere to ride the course. Blake loves going here and always asks Rich to take him.

Blake hasn't been able to ride his bike lately because of his broken arm and then his poor bike was broken. Blake rides his bike hard so we had to get a new tire, pedals, and a seat cover. Since his bike was finally fix we decided to go to the bike jumps today.

There is this turn on the course that was hard to make and poor Blake and I could not make the turn without falling.

It was funny I asked Blake what pictures he wanted to post so he showed me several that he like. When I would ask about the ones where he fell, he did not want me to show them.

This one is for Blake since I posted one of him falling I will post one of me falling.

Originally I was not going to bike, I was just going to sit with Sadie and watch. Sadie slept the whole time so I thought I would give it a try. It was so much fun, next time I will bring my own bike and comfortable clothes.

Rich and Blake getting ready to race.

Our little Logan. He has not interest in riding his bike, or doing much of anything to active. He just loved playing in the dirt, throwing rocks, and watching us ride.

Blake on the last jump.

Me attempting to ride.

What can I say?

Rich making the turn that Blake and I fell on.

Our Sadie lady. She slept the whole time and woke up just as we were leaving. We ended up running into people from our ward and went out for ice cream afterwards. We all had a great time.

Blog book

I am so excited I got my blog made into a book. I love it!! I did notice all my grammar and misspellings mistakes now that it is in print. What can I say I was a PE major.

It is so nice to have all my blogs in one place. I started with the year 2008, and I can't wait to make another book for this year. I am so bad at keeping a journal and scrapbooking that this has become an easy alternative for me. I ended up going through blurb.com because it allowed me to pick background colors, and different layouts. It was a lot more work, but I like the outcome. If you are looking for a quick easy way to put your blog into a book try blog2print.com. So happy I have my blog book!

Sadie 4 months old

Sadie is now four months old. She has discovered her hands and is mesmerized by them.

She loves being in the action with her brothers. She will roll over and then try and push forward to be with them. She doesn't go anywhere yet, but she tries.

She has outgrown her bassinet in our room and now sleeps in her crib. I was sad the other day as I had to pack away a bin full of clothes that she has outgrown.
