Since Blake is off track for the month of November and Rich had vacation this week we decided to go to the Aquarium of the Pacific. We were able to get our tickets cheap through Rich's work. The boys love sharks so we knew they would love going here.

touchpool.

Logan loved trying to touch the rays, Blake was scared they were going to sting him so he did not try touching them. We tried to tell Blake they wouldn't hurt him, but that didn't help. I don't know if Logan so much liked touching the rays or just splashing the water.

They had rocky
tidepools that had star fish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers and other things for the kids to touch. Blake loved this, he would touch everything and asked the worker question after question. She asked Blake what grade he was in, and was
surpirsed that he was only a
kindergater because of all his questions. Logan didn't last long here, he didn't know how to softly touch the animals.

At one of the tanks they had the scuba divers in feeding all the rays, fish, and sharks (the nice ones). It was fun watching all the fish eat the
broccoli, and
lettuce the diver feed them. The scuba diver would give the boys thumbs up, and put his hand on the glass so they could give him a high five.

When we got their they gave us an information book with all the animals there. Inside the book they had a spot to put a stamp at the different stations. Blake and I had fun filling our book up with stamps. We got a pencil for finding all the stamp stations. It was fun spending time together and seeing the
excitement on the boys faces as they saw and touched different sea
animals.
