The Great Pumpkin

Tonight we carved our pumpkin that we got at the pumpkin patch.

Logan was our only kid who would help with the pumpkin.

Sadie loved the pumpkin.

Sadie loved taking the lid off the pumpkin and looking in it.

The kids checking out the inside of the pumpkin.

That night Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin was on so I let the kids stay up and watch it. I baked the pumpkin seeds from our pumpkin and we ate them while watching the movie.

The kids loved the movie especially Logan who chuckled and laughed throughout the movie.

Primary Program

Today our Primary had their program in sacrament meeting. This was Logan's fist primary program. Grandma Rauch, Grandma Shelly, Grandpa Moss, Uncle Matthew, Aunt Danielle, Ellie, Carson, Hunter and Macie all came to hear them in the primary program. We have been practicing their parts for weeks and both boys had their line memorized. We were prepared for Logan not cooperating or not behaving on the stage and were ready to grab him if needed. Well soon after the program started Logan was walking off the stage. Aunt Danielle grabbed him in time before he could get too far and Rich sat with him until his part came up (which was at the beginning). Logan finally gets up to the microphone after a little pushing and stands up there and stares at everyone. Even with help from the Primary President Logan would not say his part, so she said it for him. After his part he didn't even try and sit with his class, but came and sat with the family. Blake did a great job he sang the songs which I was happy to see. When it was his turn he got up to the microphone looked at the audience and said his part clearly and slowly, "We come unto Christ by repenting when we make a mistake and doing temple work." He did a great job and we were so proud of him. After church Logan happily said his part to Grandmas and Grandpa.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch to look for a pumpkin. We decide to get one big pumpkin instead of 3 little pumpkins (much cheaper that way).

The boys loved playing the games and bounce slides.

San Diego Zoo

Blake didn't have school today due to budget cuts and since the San Diego Zoo is free for kids during the month of October I packed the kids up and headed to the Zoo.

Blake in a tiger mask.

Logan in a tiger mask.

Sadie pointing at the water turtles.

Logan looking at the water turtles and crocodile. Logan loved watching these animals we eventually had to drag him away.

The kids loved the crocodile.

The zoo had lots of elephants.

Rest time.

Blake and Logan on skyfari.

Julie and Sadie on Skyfari.

This was so cool the polar bears were wrestling. It reminded me of my two boys fighting. We had a great day at the zoo. The kids were so good for me, they never complained or cried which made for a fun easy going day.

Bike Ride

We love going on family bike rides, but since Sadie was born we haven't been able to go on one. Today Rich went out and got training wheels for a bike we had so Logan would have a bike.

Rich also had to take a tire off an old bike to put on a newer bike.

Even with training wheels Logan had trouble ridding his bike.

Logan trying to peddle.

Sadie getting ready for her first bike ride.

We biked to the local park its only about a 3 min bike ride, but it took poor Logan about 15 minutes and that was with Rich walking behind him and pushing him.

Sadie and Julie.

Blake riding home. Logan is finally getting a little better at peddling, so hopefully we can have a family bike ride soon.

Logan's Baseball Glove

Today Rich went and bought Logan a baseball glove. Logan is a lefty so he can't play catch with are other gloves.

He was so excited for his new glove...

for about 5 minutes and then he said, "I'm done."
