Preschool

(Not a very good picture, but the sun was in his eyes in all the pictures. Blake had to line up his backpack and lunch pail for the picture.)

Blake started preschool this last week. I've been wanting to sign him up for awhile now, but just forgot to. I figured now would be a good time to start preschool since he will be starting Kindergarten this August. He only goes two days a week in addition to his letter learner class he is already taking. I'm hoping it will help him so going to school everyday won't be so hard on him (or me, which I know I'm going to cry once he starts kindergarten.) The most exciting part for Blake was being able to take a lunch to school with him. He asks me what I packed for him and them gives me his approval on the things I put in his lunch. He would then want me to add to his lunch other items like grapes. He told me his teacher said, "Wow Blake you have a very big lunch!" And he did, all his requests barely fit into his lunch bag. Blake seems to enjoy his class, and came home excited after the second day saying, "Mom I made a lot of new friends today!"

It still blows my mind that Blake will be starting kindergarten this summer. It seems like yesterday that he was a baby with all that hair that stood straight out, and when he crawled with one knee and one foot. They grow up way way too fast. Well I'm glad he likes Preschool and is making lots of friends :) I love you Blakester!

I can't believe he'll be starting kindergarten next year too. He looks so handsome. My kids favorite part was what I packed them for lunch too. But now, they want to buy all the time.
