Today after we had family pictures we had my parents take the grandchildren to the park. My mom's birthday is at the end of the month and is turning 50, so my sister wanted to celebrate it before she left. While my parents were at the park we hurried up and decorated the house to surprise my mom with a birthday party. My brother brought his Halloween decorations, and my sister bought all these fun signs and decorations mocking her age. She was completely surprised when she came home from the park.

My sister had down loaded a cd with songs that came out the year she was born. Then the older grandchildren read fact about when grandma was their age.
