Well we know this day would come when Blake would break a bone. Last night after dinner he was playing in our tree with the neighbor kids. Blake jumped out of the tree after about five minutes of him crying and saying his arm hurt really bad we figured it was broken. We took him to urgent care last night where they took x-rays saw that it was broken and put a soft temporary cast on for the night.
Here is Blake's x-ray. He broke his bone right by his wrist. Luckily it is is left arm, so he can still write at school.
Today we had to take Blake to the orthopedic surgeon where they put his new cast on. The doctor was impressed with Blake because he didn't cry when he had to set his arm in the cast.
Blake with his new cast in front of the tree he jumped out of. He will have this cast on for three weeks then they will put a half cast on for another couple of weeks.
Sadly Blake is now on the DL for t-ball.

poor kid. He was so excited to play baseball and now he broke his arm. Hope he's not too uncomfortable.
Poor Blake I hope his arm feels better soon. He looked so darn cute in his baseball uniform.
