This afternoon Sadie got her first bee sting. It actually is the first time any of our kids got stung by a bee. She was swinging on the swing in the backyard when the bee started hovering around her. I tried to hurry up and get her out before she was stung, but I wasn't fast enough. The bee landed on her noses so she tried to get it off. The bee landed on the swing tray, so I tried to hurry and get it off. After I got rid of the bee I looked at her finger and saw the bee stinger in it. I was shocked because she wasn't crying or acting upset at all. I hurried and grabbed Sadie to take her inside so I could take the stinger out. As I was going in the house Sadie plucked the stinger from out of her finger. She went to Rich pointed to her finger and said, "Owie". Luckily she was fine and wasn't allergic to bee stings. I was just so amazed and proud of her for not crying.
