Rich is the Scout Master for the troop in our ward. This week he has been away at scout camp. Today they had family day, since we were missing dad so much I took the kids up to scout camp. The boys in his troop made this swing for the kids.

After showing us around Rich took the kids to the craft area and they made a bracelet out of leather.
Logan and Sadie were not into it and enjoyed playing in the dirt.
Blake LOVED scout camp. He loves hanging out with the scouts and really wants to be a scout. He tells me that he is ready to work on some merit badges because he is good at them.

We had a nice little visit at scout camp. We were also able to eat dinner with dad before we went home. I was glad we went up and spent some time with Rich.

I didn't know they had a family day. How fun. Glad you were able to go up. Scouting does look like fun. Too bad girls can't join.
