Salt Lake

This weekend Rich and I drove back up to Utah for my cousin Devin's wedding. We were going to take the kids with us, but after the long drive in traffic the last time we decided to come home on Monday. The kids are in school already so Aunt Stacy came over and took care of them for us. It was very weird not having the kids with us it was the first time we have left them for more than a day. At the same time it was very nice to spend time with just Rich. Friday night they had a family dinner at the park. It was a lot of fun seeing all the extended family and playing games together.

Saturday August 13 we went to the Salt Lake Temple where my cousin was sealed to his wife Brittanie. I sadly forgot my camera so when we got to Utah I went and bought a disposable one. That is why all my pictures are so awful and only 5 out of the whole roll turned out. I really missed my digital camera and am grateful for the technology we have now. So this is an bad picture of two beautiful people. After the sealing several family members went out to Olive Garden to eat. It was so nice just to talk with everyone, and not have to deal with children miss behaving in a restaurant.

At the reception they had a photo both to take pictures in. One copy went into the guest book and the other we got to keep. Rich and Matthew dressed up as robbers and kidnapped Brittanie. She was scared at first, but was a good sport about it especially since it was family tradition. Sunday morning we went to the Conference center and watched a taping of Music and the Spoken Word. It was amazing, but of course my pictures didn't turn out. We started to drive home Sunday, but once we hit traffic at State line we stopped for the night and got up early the next morning to go home. We had a great time, but I missed the kids so much! Today I spent most of the day just holding them and giving them kisses.
