Today Blake and Rich had their first soccer game. Rich is the assistant coach with our sister-in-law Olga. Blake plays with his cousin Breckin and their team name is Shark Attack.
I was a little worried that their team would not do well, based on how practices have been going. There are a lot of active boys who like to fight with each other and not listen. I was shocked when they dominated the game and played so well.
Blake got to play goalie for a period. He lucked out and the ball only came toward him a few times.
Blake even scored his first goal!!! He was so happy that he made a point.
We ended up winning five to zero. It was a great way to start out the season.
