Pitcher

Tonight Blake had his first baseball game of Winter Ball Baseball. He is on the Blue Jay and is so excited to be playing baseball again. It is very crazy right now because he is also playing soccer, but luckily there will only be two games that conflict. Last night we went to have family home evening at my parents, and Blake told everyone that he was going to pitch in the next game. I didn't believe him, but he told me his coach said he had a good arm and he was going to have Blake pitch. Well tonight Rich and I were sitting in the stands waiting for the game to start and we heard the coach tell Blake he was going to start the game pitching. I almost had a break down, thinking this coach is crazy Blake has never pitched before. I got up and started my pacing. You could tell Blake was excited, but nervous. He ended up doing a great job no one scored, and he didn't hit anyone. Blake pitched two out of the four innings and his team won 5  to 0. I was so proud of him, but I need to remember sunflower seeds next time because I chewed all my fingernails off.
