Logan was tested at school to receive occupational therapy. After the testing we discovered Logan has Sensory Integration Disorder. During our IEP the Occupational Therapist explained Logan's behaviors and why he does what he does so well. There is not much we can do, just keep him active, but just understanding Logan more brings me such joy and peace. We already make adjustments for him and know what situations to avoid and no longer force him to do things when he doesn't want to participate. His teacher wanted me to come to his class to show me this vest he wears at school. It helps him stay focused. He also sits on a balance cushion.
Logan wanted to show me how he takes his AR test after he finishes reading his book. I am so proud of Logan! I constantly see he improvements in school, behavior, and speech. I am grateful for his teacher who constantly works and readjusts to get Logan preform at his best.
