Rich surprised me with a trip to Hawaii for our anniversary back in August. I was very nervous and panicky to leave my kids for a week, but Aunt Danielle and Grandpa stepped in to help out with the kids while we were away. Our flight was scheduled to take off at 1:50pm today, but when we got to the airport our plane was delayed....really delayed because of mechanical reasons. So we had to hang out at the airport all day until they brought in a new plane and we were able to take off at 7:00pm. During our 7 hour wait at the airport we tried to keep busy watching movies, reading, and playing games.
We played some card games, one of them being spades. Rich was teaching me how to play, so he would take a picture of my cards and after the game he would tell me what he would have bid to help me get better. Anyways after a very long day we landed in Hawaii ready to enjoy our vacation.
