Today our primary had their program during sacrament. The kids got to share with everyone what they have been learning at church this year. Of course both Grandmas came and Grandpa and even Uncle Matthew came to watch the program.
Blake kept reminding us that he needed his scriptures so he could hold them up when they said "scripture power" during the song. He was so cute proudly holding his scriptures up high during the Scripture Power song.
Blake's class also sang a verse in another song, and he had to say his part. Blake's talk this year was, "Something that I learned from President Monson just three weeks ago in General Conference was that nothing can bring more joy into our lives or more peace to our souls than the Spirit which can come to us as we follow the Savior and keep the commandments. As we follow the prophets, our faith will grow and it will become easier to stand for the right." Since Blake (I mean I) had to write his part after watching General Conference we had a good time watching President Monson speak and going over his talks with Blake. I think Blake's love for the prophet grew after having to listen very carefully to his words during conference.
Then there was our Logan, we got many comments from people about how they loved watching Logan in the program. The reason I posted so many pictures of the same thing is to show you how focused Logan was or wasn't during the program. He waved his hands around, jumped up and down. The good thing was he lasted longer on the stage this year than last year and he did say his part even though you couldn't understand it. Logan's part was the first article of faith, "We believe in God the Eternal Father and in his Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. Heavenly Father has a plan for me." I am proud of him for memorizing the article of faith. This is something that does not come easy for Logan so I was proud that he was able to memorize it after months of hard work. I am proud of both our boys they did a great job today!

They both did a great job. I think Hunte purposefully forgot his scriptures at home so he wouldn't have to raise his scriptures above his head. He always brings them. It was cute to see all the kids putting their scriptures above their heads for the scripture power song. I love the primary program. Wish they had one more than once a year.
